Featured Staff Member Mr. Ray

Mr. Ray's teaching methods are 1.small groups for reading and projects 2. big groups with mostly reading groups 3. one on one lessons for projects. Mr. Ray has read 1 book to his class, A Ballad to the Civil War, and the class has read 3 books ,The Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, Frindle, and Landry News , and they will be reading Because of Winn-Dixie. Now Mr. Ray is one of the few switch teachers. Mr. Ray's favorite subject is Social Studies. Mr. Ray teaches two subjects which are Social Studies and Language Arts and he does enjoy both of these subjects because they relate to his favorite things. This is something that Mr.Ray thinks is the goal for education,"The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of a true education."
