Featured Staff Member Mrs. Roark

When I did my interview I interviewed Mrs. Roark. The questions I asked her were “1.What is your favorite part of teaching? 2.How long have you been teaching? 3.Why did you choose to be a teacher? 4.What is your least favorite part of teaching? 5.And When did you decide you wanted to be a teacher? Mrs.Roark’s response to my questions Were 1.My favorite part of teaching is engaging my students in activities that are meaningful, fun, or interesting. 2. I've been a teacher for 26 years. 3. I chose to be a teacher because I genuinely love children and making a positive difference in their lives. 4. My least favorite part of teaching is having to convince parents and the community that we need our school levies to pass. 5. I decided I wanted to be a teacher when I was in high school. I always taught swimming lessons in the summer and worked at camps with children. I knew that teaching would be a fulfilling job for me.
