Mr. Holt's favorite subject is math because he likes to solve puzzles. He thinks every math problem is like its very own puzzle and he feels good when he solves these puzzles. Math is also very useful when you get older and you will use it every day at home and in every career that you may choose. He doesn’t have a least favorite subject and says the subjects tie together in a way. He became a teacher because he likes to help his students love school just like he did when he was a child. He thinks it’s much easier to learn when you love school. He teaches reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. He loves teaching second grade and has an awesome class this year. His kids are so smart and a lot of fun.
